From the volcanic island of Rishiri, we went back to the ferry to the neighboring island Rebun. Once there, we have strengthened the local Fäähriterminals. The local specialty was sea urchins. Of the spikes on the plate but was not seen. Eating only does it from the sea urchin eggs. Sort of like the fish eggs which are everywhere. The product is super simple. You fill a bowl with rice, is the sea urchin eggs and flaring about this briefly with the gas burner. With a little wasabi and soy sauce tastes really delicious.
