hegemony, a term which denotes Antonio Gramci established the dominance of an ideology. Neo-liberalism dominated the thinking, all areas of life are ökomisiert. In the practice of social work, this development draws under the issues of budgeting, quality control, social management and so on. Gramsci refers to human concepts to counter this?

Social work is the dual mandate safe. Sandwiched between target group well and the state order, social work degenerates all too often the supervisory body. Where young people prepared for working life, deviant behavior is being sanctioned only, it is clear that represent social workers also just a cog in the power structure. described and analyzed theoretically, this Michael Foucault. One way the evidence base of social science is to question the critical theory, beginning with their dialectical view of science as opposed to the dominant critical rationalism their starting point in the social totality. is always faced with the challenge of balancing the exercise of control and selection functions on the one hand and the citizens of committed, justice-oriented help function on the other produce. Critical, progressive social work approach is here from the democratic, from the solidarity thank derived position. How hard it is at present, not only shows the situation of social workers in the scandal over the child care in Halle / Saale, but the everyday professional conduct of a large proportion of employees determined in both public and at private institutions of social work. So how can a social work look like the white, the "humanization Profession" committed? What attitudes and what knowledge do social workers who know they are a pro-gressive, target group-oriented, paritizipativen social work required. What structures and approaches to work resulting from this? These questions will be explored in this event.
